He had a comfortable part time at a cafe and he got to spend most of his time through the day creating music. His roots in the Qalli tribe that he had taken from his mother ran strongly through his blood. Being able to do what he enjoyed and not having an incredibly stressful part time to insure he made ends meet was a blessing.
It's become somewhat routine at this point. In the evening while working the quaint little cafe; Vera had taken notice of a particular regular. He recognized all their regulars, of course, but this one always stood out. The other was overtly friendly for his taste, yet he was charmed all the same. His most interactions were at work and that was only because he had to engage customers enough to get their orders or to greet them as they came or left. He was aware that he only engaged in interaction where it was needed and rarely because he wanted to.
It made him curious though. He had never done much to warrant such a friendly regular. Vera almost looked forward to when they came in. Speaking of, he was sure that the other would arrive soon. There's a glance at the clock on the wall before he glances at the front door from the counter.]
