[For what it's worth; Karna's expression doesn't seem to change at all through the entire debacle. He seems to easily accept the other suddenly thrusting the front of his robes free so that the other could see. He really was flat with the large red gem embedded into his chest jutting out more than his chest.
He only really idly wonders if his appearance was truly that misleading.
Karna certainly shouldn't be taking this so calmly.
It takes him a moment to register what Nitocris wishes for him to do. For her sake (and his own and everyone), he obliges.
