i'm falling, falling
[ Master Baskerville will see you now.
Heavy double wooden doors groan, as they're pushed open to reveal the primary sitting area. It's a gorgeous room, suited to the rest of home; polished stone floors, ebony wood structure, and plush furnishings that speak of old wealth. Sunlight trickles through the tied brocade drapes, setting alight the delicate crystalware that holds their refreshments - what appears to be an impressive display of water, juice, and various light snacks.
The young master, however, doesn't seem to be interested in any of it; rather, he's laid out on the floor, flicking through his tablet. ]
You don't have to stay Doug. It's just schoolwork.
[ With a click, he tosses the device onto one of the seats, hoisting himself up to sit with a ruffle of his hair. Already smiling to address his new instructor, his brows tick with intrigue upon actually seeing him. ]
The less distraction, the better-- right?

He gently smiles at the other.]
Distractions tend to slow down progress, yes.
[The tall man pulled the sunglasses he had been wearing off and back into the glass case he had for them. Karna was something of a rarity to behold. Naturally pale, white hair and skin. Lean and tall. Vibrant eyes with a bit of uniqueness in them. There was a ring of bright red against the usual vibrant blue and even specks of red can be seen within them.]
Let me introduce myself proper though. You may just call me Karna. I was requested that we work on an independent study of some sort to further your academics. It's nice to meet you.
